The provisions of the Cold Weather Rule establish the disconnection procedures for any residential customer of the cooperative throughout the cold weather period, which extends from November 1-March 31 of each year.
Highlights of the rule are as follows:
- The temperature must be 35 or above within the next 24-hour period
- Bluestem will make a telephone call attempt the day prior to disconnection
- Bluestem will make a personal contact attempt (knock on door) on the day of disconnection
